Functional Lab Testing + Private 1:1 Consultation
Your Symptoms Are Telling You Something. Let’s Look Deeper.
Functional lab testing gives us an opportunity to look beneath the surface, identify meaningful patterns and potential healing opportunities, and better understand what your body may need next — with a private consultation to help you make sense of it all.

You know your body. And when something feels off — even when you’ve been told your labs look “normal” — it can be frustrating to walk away without answers.
Maybe you’re struggling with digestive symptoms that never seem to fully resolve. Maybe your hormones feel different and you’re wondering what’s changed. Or maybe you’re tired, foggy, depleted, and simply don’t feel like yourself anymore.
You know you want to look deeper. But you may not be ready for months of private coaching or an extensive healing program.
This is a place to begin.
And you won’t be left trying to interpret those results on your own. I’ll review your health history and lab findings before we meet, then we’ll spend 60 minutes together privately walking through what I see, what may be connected, and where I believe your attention is best focused first.
You’ll leave with greater clarity, personalized next steps, and a better understanding of your body — without committing to ongoing 1:1 support.
The Test Gives Us Information. Your Story Gives Us Context.
Functional testing can reveal incredibly valuable information. But I don’t believe your health can be reduced to a collection of numbers on a page.
A low marker isn’t automatically something we need to supplement. An organism on a stool test isn’t necessarily something we should immediately attack. And a hormone imbalance doesn’t exist independently from your gut, liver, nervous system, nutrient status, blood sugar, environment, lifestyle, and everything else influencing your body.
That’s why this isn’t simply a lab review. Before we meet, I’ll look at your testing alongside your symptoms and health history so we can begin connecting the dots.
Instead of asking only, “What’s abnormal?” we’ll also be asking:
- What might this pattern be telling us?
- How could this connect with what you’ve been experiencing?
- And of everything we could work on, where would I begin?
Because more information isn't always what you need. Sometimes you need someone to help you understand what matters.
Choose Where You’d Like to Look Deeper
Three Ways to Begin
Comprehensive Functional Bloodwork + Private Consultation
$547
For the woman who has been told her labs are “normal” but still doesn’t feel well. Traditional bloodwork is often interpreted primarily by looking for disease or values that fall outside standard laboratory reference ranges. But there can be valuable information in the patterns between those numbers, even when individual markers haven't been flagged as abnormal.
This may be a good fit if you’re experiencing:
- Fatigue or low energy
- Brain fog
- Blood sugar concerns
- Thyroid-related symptoms
- Nutrient concerns
- Inflammation
- That persistent feeling that something isn’t right
DUTCH Complete Hormone Testing + Private Consultation
$547
For the woman who wants a deeper look at her hormones, stress response, and hormone metabolism. The DUTCH Complete gives us a more comprehensive look at sex hormones, hormone metabolites, cortisol patterns, and other markers that can help us better understand what may be influencing the way you feel.
This may be a good fit if you’re experiencing:
- Cycle changes or PMS
- Perimenopause or menopause
- Sleep disruption
- Fatigue
- Changes in mood or libido
- Other symptoms that have you wondering whether hormones may be part of the picture
GI-MAP Gut Testing + Private Consultation
$647
For the woman who wants to understand what may be happening beneath the surface of her gut health. The GI-MAP gives us a detailed look at the gastrointestinal environment, including microbial patterns and other markers that can provide valuable clues about digestion, inflammation, immune function, and the overall health of the gut.
This may be a good fit if you’re experiencing:
- Bloating or gas
- Constipation or loose stools
- Digestive discomfort
- Food reactions
- Recurrent gut issues
- Symptoms that have you wondering whether your gut may be contributing to the bigger picture
A First Step for New Clients
This service was created as an accessible way for new clients to experience personalized 1:1 support without committing to a longer coaching relationship.
Lab Testing + Private Consultation is available to new 1:1 clients only and is not intended as a standalone lab-review or follow-up service for current or previous private clients.
If we’ve worked together privately in the past and you’d like support with new testing or a current health concern, please reach out so we can determine the most appropriate way to work together.
What’s Included
Whichever testing option you choose, your experience includes:
Your Selected Functional Lab Test
Your choice of Comprehensive Functional Bloodwork, DUTCH Complete hormone testing, or GI-MAP gut testing is included in your investment.
Comprehensive Health-History Intake
Before I ever review your results, you’ll complete a detailed intake that helps me understand your symptoms, health history, lifestyle, current medications and supplements, and what you most want answers about.
Professional Review + Analysis
Before we meet, I’ll personally review your lab results alongside your health history—looking beyond isolated markers to identify meaningful patterns, connections, and potential healing opportunities.
60-Minute Private 1:1 Consultation
We’ll meet privately via Zoom to walk through your results together. I’ll explain what I’m seeing in a way that makes sense, help you understand how the findings may connect with what you’ve been experiencing, and answer your questions along the way.
Your Top 3 Healing Opportunities
You won’t leave with a laundry list of everything that could possibly be addressed. I’ll help you narrow the findings down to the three areas I believe deserve your attention first.
Personalized Next Steps
You’ll receive practical, foundational recommendations based on what we uncover, which may include nutrition, lifestyle, nervous system, drainage, gut, environmental, or other areas of support—along with targeted supplement recommendations when appropriate.
Written Appointment Summary
You won’t have to remember everything we discuss. After your consultation, you’ll receive a written summary of your primary findings, priorities, and recommended next steps to refer back to as you begin implementing what we discussed.
7-Day Clarification Window
Questions sometimes come up once you’ve had time to process everything. You’ll have seven days after your consultation to send one follow-up email if you need clarification about something we discussed during your appointment.
What This Consultation Doesn’t Include
- —Ongoing coaching or case management
- —Follow-up consultations
- —Interpretation of additional testing
- —Additional lab testing
- —Comprehensive or multi-phase therapeutic protocols
- —Ongoing supplement adjustments or troubleshooting
- —Ongoing messaging or email support
This Isn’t a Protocol in a Box.
I know how tempting it can be to finally see an abnormality on a test and think: There it is. That’s the problem.
But after years of helping people navigate complex health challenges, I’ve learned that what shows up on a lab is often part of the story — not the whole story.
Your body is interconnected. Gut imbalances can be influenced by digestion, immune function, stress, toxic burden, nutrition, medications, motility, and the health of the internal environment. Hormone patterns can be influenced by blood sugar, stress physiology, liver function, gut health, nutrients, sleep, and season of life. Blood markers can give us clues that lead us toward questions we wouldn’t have known to ask otherwise.
That’s why I won’t hand you a lengthy protocol based solely on one test. Instead, we’ll use your results as one window into your health — helping us identify healing opportunities, understand what may deserve attention, and determine the most appropriate place for you to begin.
This is personalized guidance. But it is intentionally not a comprehensive root-cause investigation or ongoing healing program.
Because sometimes the most helpful thing we can do isn't try to fix everything at once. It’s figure out what matters next.
What Happens After Your Consultation?
There is no requirement to continue working with me after your appointment.
You may leave feeling confident implementing your personalized next steps on your own.
You may realize you need a stronger understanding of the foundational pieces that support healing and choose to work through Faith-Filled Healing Foundations, my self-guided program.
Or we may uncover multiple interconnected patterns that would benefit from deeper investigation and ongoing personalized support. If that’s the case, I’ll let you know what I believe would serve you best and, if you’re interested, we can talk about what working together privately could look like.
My goal isn't to convince you that you need more. It’s to help you understand what your body may be asking for — and give you an honest recommendation about where I would go from here.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know which test to choose?
If digestive symptoms or gut health are your primary concern, the GI-MAP may be the most appropriate starting point. If you’re primarily navigating hormone-related symptoms, cycle changes, perimenopause, or menopause, DUTCH Complete may offer more relevant insight. And if your symptoms are broader—or you’ve been told your routine labs are “normal” despite not feeling like yourself—comprehensive functional bloodwork may be a helpful place to begin.
Because symptoms often overlap, you don’t have to make the decision alone.
If you’re still unsure, complete my brief Lab Recommendation Form and tell me what you’re experiencing. I’ll personally recommend which of the three testing options I believe is the best place for you to start.
Help Me Choose a LabThis recommendation is intended only to help you select among the three testing options offered through this service and does not include health assessment, lab interpretation, or individualized clinical recommendations.
Can one lab tell me the root cause of my symptoms?
No—and I would be cautious of anyone promising that it can. Functional testing can give us valuable clues, reveal patterns, and identify potential healing opportunities, but your health is much more complex than any single test. This service is designed to help us take a meaningful look at one area of your health and determine what deserves attention next.
When will I schedule my consultation?
Once your lab results are available and your required intake forms have been completed, you'll receive instructions for scheduling your private 60-minute consultation. This ensures I have everything I need to thoroughly review your results and health history before we meet.
How long does the process take?
Timing varies depending on the test selected, shipping, collection, and laboratory processing times (typically two weeks once sample is received for GI Map or DUTCH and three days for blood work). Once your results are available and your required forms are complete, you'll be able to schedule your private consultation.
Will you give me supplement recommendations?
When appropriate, I may recommend targeted supplements based on your history, findings, and priorities. This service does not include a comprehensive or multi-phase supplement or therapeutic protocol. Those types of recommendations require deeper investigation and ongoing support.
Can you review labs I’ve already completed?
This particular service includes the lab test purchased through me along with your consultation. Previously completed or outside testing is not included in the interpretation. We can discuss potentially adding additional lab tests onto this consult after purchase.
I’ve worked with Sarah before. Can I purchase a Lab + Private Consultation?
This offering was created specifically as an accessible way for new 1:1 clients to experience personalized support with me before committing to a longer coaching relationship.
Because of that, Lab Testing + Private Consultation is not available as a standalone lab review or follow-up service for current or previous private 1:1 clients.
If we’ve worked together privately in the past and you’d like support with new testing or a current health concern, please reach out. I’d be happy to help you determine the most appropriate next step based on the support you need now.
Will I be expected to sign up for additional coaching afterward?
Absolutely not. You may decide that the recommendations from our consultation are enough for you to begin working independently. If I believe additional investigation or support would be beneficial, I’ll explain why and let you know what options are available—but there is no obligation to continue working together.
Is this medical care?
No. This service is educational and wellness-focused and is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or care from your licensed healthcare provider. I encourage you to continue working with your physician and other qualified healthcare professionals as appropriate.
You Don’t Have to Investigate Everything to Take the Next Right Step.
Sometimes healing starts with finally having someone look at the information differently. Not just asking whether you're sick enough for a diagnosis. Not chasing every abnormal marker. Not jumping into another protocol.
But looking at your body as a whole, paying attention to the clues it’s giving us, and asking: Where is there an opportunity to support healing here?
Not Sure Which Test Is Right for You?
It’s common for symptoms to overlap—and you don’t need to figure this out on your own.
If you’re interested in a Lab + Private Consultation but aren’t sure whether functional bloodwork, DUTCH Complete, or GI-MAP would be the most appropriate place to begin, complete my brief Lab Recommendation Form.
Tell me a little about what you’re experiencing and what you’re hoping to better understand, and I’ll personally recommend which of these three testing options I believe is the best starting point for you.
There’s no charge and no discovery call required.
This recommendation is intended only to help you select among the three testing options offered through this service and does not include health assessment, lab interpretation, or individualized clinical recommendations.
